8 street lettering fonts for skate, sport and streetwear branding

Sport and skate branding has a specific problem: the lettering has to look fast while standing completely still. Most typefaces solve it with a plain italic, which reads as a formality rather than actual movement.

These eight do it properly, with the motion drawn into the shapes — trailing exits, forward leans, speed lines, letters that look like they are arriving rather than sitting.
