About Selene Rocheline

I am Selene Rocheline, and I put this site together from the United States. The same collection goes out on Pinterest as @selenegraffitifonts, which is where most people arrive from — if a pin brought you here, that was me.

The work is simple to describe and slower to do. Every week I go through the new type releases, install the graffiti and street lettering ones, and set the same test word in each. Most get deleted. The alphabets that survive are the ones on this site: fifty-one of them at the moment, grouped by the shape of the letters rather than by whatever the designer decided to call them.

What I check for is boring and practical. Does the alphabet stay readable at thumbnail size? Do the enclosed parts of letters like A and O fill in when it is printed small on fabric? Are the paths clean enough for a cutting machine? Does it come with a commercial licence, so a print-on-demand seller can actually use it? A typeface can look magnificent in a designer's preview image and fall apart the first time you put it on a hoodie, and that gap is the whole reason this page exists.

I write the descriptions myself, in my own words, based on what the letters actually do. Nothing here is copied from a product listing.

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which is how the time gets paid for. It costs you nothing extra, and it has never decided what goes on the list — a font that fails the thumbnail test does not make it on regardless of what it pays.
