Privacy policy

The short version

This site has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no contact form. It collects nothing from you directly. One item goes into your browser's local storage, and only if you answer the notice at the bottom of the screen.

What is stored in your browser

A single entry named sgf_consent is written to your browser's local storage when you press either button on the cookie notice. Its value is the word granted or the word denied, and its only purpose is to stop the notice reappearing on every page. It contains no identifier of any kind and it is never transmitted anywhere — local storage stays on your device.

You can delete it at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings. The notice will simply appear again on your next visit.

There are currently no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no third-party tags on this site. The consent entry exists so that if any are ever added, they will only run for visitors who have agreed. Choosing No thanks means nothing beyond the site itself will ever load.

What the host records

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, it writes standard server logs: the address of the page requested, the time, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the referring page if there is one. These logs are handled by Cloudflare under its own privacy terms, they are used for delivering and protecting the site, and I do not have a dashboard that identifies individual visitors from them.

How the /go/ links work

Every download button on this site points at an internal address beginning with /go/ — for example /go/street-riot-graffiti-font. That address is not a page. It is a redirect rule handled by Cloudflare, which immediately forwards your browser to the shop where the font lives.

Two things follow from that. First, the redirect appears in the host's traffic figures, so I can see that a particular button was pressed a certain number of times — as a count, with no information about who pressed it. That is the only measurement on this site, and it is what tells me which alphabets are worth keeping on the page. Second, once the redirect fires you are on somebody else's website, and their privacy policy applies to everything that happens next.

Affiliate links

The /go/ links are affiliate links. If you download or subscribe after following one, I may receive a small commission from the shop. Your price is unaffected. The destination site will typically set its own cookie to record that you arrived from here; that cookie is theirs, not mine, and it is described in their policy, not this one.

Images and fonts

Every image on this site is stored on this domain and served by Cloudflare. The page uses the typefaces already installed on your device, so no external font service is contacted and no request leaves this domain while you read.

Children

This site is aimed at people making and selling design work. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Since nothing identifying you is collected or stored by me, there is generally no personal data for me to show, correct or delete. If you have a question about any of the above, or a request regarding data held by Cloudflare in relation to this site, write to hello@selenegraffitifonts.com.

Changes

If analytics or any other third-party script is ever added, this page will be updated before it goes live and the consent notice will be reset so that everyone is asked again.
